Dream People were born in October 2018. Francisco, Bernardo, Nuno, Chris and Bóris. None of them knew eachother before that. Nuno met Francisco through a Facebook group. Francisco talked to Surma. Surma advised Bernardo. Bernardo met Boris. Chris showed up at a rehearsal. And slowly they started to sew Dream People. Despite this troubled beginning and having met each other recently, all of them shared a desire to create new sounds and bring new influences to the Portuguese music scene. Between synths that lead us into the ethereal dream pop universe and powerful guitars that surround us in a psychedelic synth rock reminiscent of a modern kind of The Doors, Dream People's music is an exercise in constant reinvention and creative expansion and the search for new identities. On 2018, Dream People won the contest promoted by the historic Namouche studios which resulted in the recording of their first EP, "Softviolence". In December of that year, they also won the Paredes de Coura Rock School contest, where they spent a week in residency and there recorded their critically acclaimed single "Forever, Too Long". As for future plans, Dream People plan to release a compiled EP by 2020 and their debut album by the end of this year, still in God's secret - Super Bock in Stock may be a good opportunity to find out a little more.
