Ahmed Gallab is simply Sinkane for the music industry. Despite being born in London, Gallab lived in Sudan for several years, a fact that would eventually influence his music years later. In May 2008, he released his first EP: "Color Voice". In the same year, he was also the drummer of bands like Caribou and Of Montreal while on tour. A year later, he released a self-titled album, which allowed him to catch DFA's eyes, a label tailored to his music. That's when things started to get real. His two next albums, "Mars" in 2012 and "Mean Love" in 2014. By this time, the indie world was already looking at Sinkane, but the musician continued his path with a geniune desire to do things with artistic value, with side projects like Atomic Bomb! Band, a world music band dedicated to funk master William Onyeabor. After "Life & Livin 'It", released in 2017, Sinkane released another album in 2019 "Dépaysé", a breathtaking self-discovery album addressing topics such as immigration. Its eclectic style, mixing free jazz, afrobeat, shoegaze and even reggae, will perfectly match Super Bock in Stock's atmosphere. Save the date!
